enough said… here’s how we do it

Okay, each form of the font family must be declared using the @font-face syntax; for example, i want to use “Calibri” as my global font, I should place it on my CSS stylesheet this way:

as you can see I placed those font on a “font” directory. if you place those font formats somewhere else, just change the directory.
this –> ‘font/Calibri.eot’ to be change with –> ‘-directory-/Calibri.eot’ (do the same with ttf)

Then on your CSS stylesheet call it using font-family:

Note: some fonts don’t have their open type (.eot) formats so here’s a link than may help you convert those (.ttf) to (.eot) formats. http://ttf2eot.sebastiankippe.com/

Strawberry dart:

inspired by the Beatles’ song strawberry fields forever. there is nothing more to describe this photo but a verse from the song: “let me take you down, cause I’m going to, strawberry fields, nothing is real, and nothing to get hung about, strawberry fields forever.”

went for an afternoon walk at the park. dropped by the ruins and everything is tranquil. even this dragon fly sits still on his leaf.

Rain:

a walk after the rain. I love afternoon summer rains, cause after raining, the sun shines brightly and reflects earth’s color at its finest, and that gives me joy and hope for better days.

there was a tree, the finest tree that I ever did see, and the tree was on the ground where the green grass grow all around.

I just love how this kawayan (bamboo) ladder :

rests on this great red wall, and parts of the white window peep. this color gives me so much energy

A designer is very important in our web industry and theirs no doubt about that. but sometimes web designers are under paid by some companies(they may be applauded with amount full of good words or motivational thoughts but still gets a small amount in their pockets.) so how can we change our ways on making our designers happy and ways for them to love your company in which they can be loyal and consider your company home…

Make sure demands are equivalent with the price.

A. Cheap Cost + Attractive/Responsive and Beautiful Design = Slow Design Output
—> clients can’t demand designers to finish it fast and attractive when the price is not even right (it will just make your designers, demotivated and unresponsive with creativity because of pressure and expectations, be insensitive at times and try to weigh if you might be pushing so much. If you do push that much you might see your designers leaving the office without any notice.)

—> designers: speak out if you need more time, tell them how you feel and let them listen and why? and if you need an increase with their demands you might want to tell your clients as well.

B. Attractive/Responsive and Beautiful Design + Fast Design Output = Expensive Cost
—> clients please prepare an amount full of cash to make this work, creative juices from a designer are hard to squeeze under pressure without a good price in their pockets, if clients are willing to do this they’ll be shock that designers are pleased to work extra hours to meet the deadline and see them energized like they drunk a whole liter or RedBull, and for sure if you pay them right they will love you and stay loyal..

—> designers, if clients meet this requirements, show them what it’s worth, be motivated, don’t take it for granted, work extra hours if needed, meet deadlines and treasure it.

C. Cheap Cost + Fast Design Output = Ugly Design
—-> clients please don’t expect it to be beautiful/attractive and very responsive since it’s a rush work, rush works are nearly a trash design, unless if the designer is a super star that delivers it like a pro(but still I doubt if the designer might take your project since he/she might know his/her worth in the first place.) clients might get a mediocre design that may lead clients reaction to ”
hmmm… okay that will do..” (please no more buts, you’ll just turn relationship uglier with your designer.)

—> designers: speak out if you need more time to make it more attractive, tell them how you feel and let them listen and why? and if you need an increase with their demands you might want to tell your clients as well. (same with A)

D. attractive and beautiful design + fast design output + cheap cost = impossible & rare designer might do this

—> what clients dreamed of…
—> designers worst nightmare…

If you’re a Doom, Quake gamer, isn’t it fun to have that virtual experience? A lot of games today have that sort of feeling (director’s view kind of thing)because they would like the gamers to be stepping in the actual game. But without virtual reality? you’ll be asking yourself, “i think it’s not a real deal, there something missing.” that is why we should support these Oculus Rift project to be out on the market, not only that the prototypes gives you immense possibilities it’s a start of experiencing the real thing because that is what its all about right?…

I’m a console gamer as well, and it’s pain in the guts to see a lot of money being spend for consoles out on the market today(not to mention expensive game CD’s..), OUYA made a huge step not just giving gamers the freedom on what they play or what they can do about gaming, they also care about peoples pocket(come on FREE Games? wohoo!), Kudos to the makers and all people involved in this project, i can’t wait to have fun with it… possibilities for this box is so open to all sort of fun, improvement, innovation and so on.. Go on and Share it..
